We have a big variety of delicious “Slaps” or better known as “Cachetadas” from the well-known brand of candies “Pigui”, but this time we want to present to you the “Doblex Picosita”.

The “Doblex Picosita Slaps” are thin layers of caramel and sugar flavored in this case with spicy chili, watermelon and mango essence. The caramel is soft, acidulated, and sugary. With these caramels you can make your own lollipop.

How does the "CachePigui Spicy Doblex Slaps" look?
Each “Slap” or “Cachetada” comes in different colors depending on the flavor of the caramel. In this case the sweet is divided in two colors: red and mango.
The wrapper of the “Slaps” is made of cellophane paper and it is colored in red, orange and green. On its center there’s a transparent oval where you can see the candy inside.
On the other parts of the wrapper you can see the brand logo “Pigui”, the name of the candy in big bold orange letters “CachePigui Doblex” and “Picosita” in a smaller font.
You will also see the quantity of the “Slaps” which is ten and in the back of the wrapper, all the relevant information such as ingredients, calories, sugars, fat and more.

How can you eat them?
There’s only one way to open these delicious lollipops and that’s with the help of some scissors. Once you cut an opening on the cellophane bag, you can grab one of the “Slaps” and get to the tasting.
But before you do that, you will see that the caramel is covered with two thin layers of transparent cellophane.
You will have to put the candy on a smooth surface, grab one of the cellophane papers and pull it off fast. Once done, it's time to make your lollipop.
Our preferred way to make it is fold the caramel from one point to the other and put pressure in it so i can stick, then we pull the paper fast and fold again but in a different direction. We repeat the process again until we have our lollipop in our desired shape and thickness, finally take the cellophane completely and it's time to savor it.
How should you taste it to have a better experience?
If you take the “Slap” lollipop near your face you will be able to see the combination of red and yellow better as well as the shiny glaze of the caramel and the sugary grains. You’ll also get to smell the sweet and cloying essence…something that will make your mouth water immediately.
After that it’s finally time to take the caramel to your mouth.
You will have a rush of sweetness on your taste buds, then the savor of spicy chili will envelop your senses and finally the small hint of fruity watermelon and mango will appear. And with each lick that you give to the caramel, you will feel the smoothness and later on the small grains of fine sugar.

¿Cómo puedes comertelos?
Solo hay una manera de abrir estas deliciosas piruletas: con unas tijeras. Una vez que cortes la bolsa de celofán, puedes tomar uno de los "Slaps" y empezar a degustarlas.
Pero antes de hacerlo, verás que el caramelo está cubierto por dos finas capas de celofán transparente.
Tendrás que colocar el caramelo sobre una superficie lisa, tomar uno de los papeles de celofán y despegarlo rápidamente. Una vez hecho esto, es hora de hacer tu piruleta.
Nuestra forma preferida de hacerlo es doblar el caramelo de un lado a otro y presionarlo para que se adhiera. Luego, tiramos del papel rápidamente y volvemos a doblarlo, pero en una dirección diferente. Repetimos el proceso hasta que nuestra piruleta tenga la forma y el grosor deseados. Finalmente, desenvolvemos el celofán por completo y es hora de saborearla.
¿Cómo debes saborearlos para tener una mejor experiencia?
Si acercas la piruleta "Slap" a la cara, podrás apreciar mejor la combinación de rojo y amarillo, así como el glaseado brillante del caramelo y los granos de azúcar. También percibirás su esencia dulce y empalagosa… algo que te hará la boca agua al instante.
Después, llega el momento de llevar el caramelo a la boca.
Sentirás una oleada de dulzura en tus papilas gustativas, luego el sabor a chile picante envolverá tus sentidos y finalmente aparecerá un ligero toque afrutado de sandía y mango. Y con cada lamida que le des al caramelo, sentirás su suavidad y, más tarde, los pequeños granos de azúcar.
